Welcome to HLC Primary Nursery, an inspiring, school-based nursery led by a team of experienced and dedicated teachers. We believe every child deserves an enriching start to their educational journey – one where their voice is heard, their ideas are celebrated, and their learning is powered by play. 

Our Nursery offers an irresistible indoor and outdoor environment where children flourish. Inside, little learners explore carefully designed spaces filled with open-ended resources that ignite imagination and communication. Outside, they enjoy engaging natural areas where they can climb, dig, build, and connect with the world around them. 

At HLC Primary Nursery, play is more than fun, it’s the foundation of all learning. Through skilled guidance and a deep understanding of early childhood development, our teachers nurture each child’s curiosity and confidence. Every day, we teach early phonics and early maths skills in playful, engaging ways, giving children the tools they need to become confident communicators and problem-solvers. 

Whether it’s storytelling, mark-making, number games, or working together to build and explore, every experience supports meaningful growth across all areas of learning. 

We offer both 15-hour and 30-hour funded places, with sessional care available Monday to Friday: 

• Morning sessions: 8:25 am – 11:25 am 

• Afternoon sessions: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm 

• 30-hour full-day places: 8:25 am – 3:00 pm 

This flexible structure allows families to choose the pattern that best suits their needs while ensuring children receive a rich, consistent, and joyful start to their education.
